Capital Business Connections, Inc.
Principal Address
The initial principal address of the Corporation shall be at 12707 Hunt Manor Court, Fairfax, VA 22033, County of Fairfax, Commonwealth of Virginia.
Purpose
Said Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, cultural and promotion of business and partnership, and as a national and business forum for Arabs, Arab-Americans and Americans of diverse ethnicity and faith.
Rights & Partnerships
In furtherance of its objectives, mission and mandate the Corporation shall have the rights to enter into partnerships and or associations with national and international organizations, business and professional organizations, academic institutions, public policy institutions, foundations, and national or international institutions.
Membership
The Corporation is a membership corporation with membership paying fees, open to business leaders, executives and employees across all sectors including healthcare, universities, banking, World Bank, IMF, diplomatic organizations, government, hospitality, legal, accounting, and transportation organizations. Paid members shall have equal votes and powers to nominate and elect corporate Board of Directors and Officers.
Initial Board
The initial corporate Board of Directors and officer is Sami Jamil Jadallah, a citizen and resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Funding
The Corporation shall have donors, contributors, sponsors and members — individuals and corporate — and shall have the rights to raise public funds directly and earn income through services, professional events, and consultations consistent with its mission.
Registered Agent
The name of the Corporation's initial registered agent is Sami Jamil Jadallah, founding member of the Board of Directors and initial officer.
Use of Funds
The income from members and corporate fees and donations shall go toward operating expenses and services in furtherance of the mission. Funds shall not be used for partisan politics or lobbying, and shall comply with Section 501(c)(3) requirements.
Dissolution
Upon dissolution, assets shall be distributed for exempt purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or to federal, state, or local government for public purposes.
